N is for Night Letter Craft

Alphabet crafts are a fun way for students to practice learning about letters and beginning sounds.  This particular craft focuses on the letter N and creating a letter craft out of the letter itself.


First you need to gather the following materials:  black paint, crayons, markers, or colored pencils, a paint brush and bowl if you opt for painting, star stickers, the letter N outline.  If you want to add a moon (which is optional) you will also need yellow paper, scissors, and tape or glue.


The first step is to color your letter N black.  I chose to paint my letter N using black paint.


After the paint dried, you will add star stickers.  My three year old found me in the middle of prepping this craft and she had a blast adding the star stickers all over the letter N.


Finally, we added a moon.  My three year old also placed the moon on this letter N craft.  She then proceeded to show everyone in the house her "letter picture with a moon on top and stars all over!"
