St. Patrick's Day Theme for Preschool

Since St. Patrick's Day falls in March, this is when this theme is taught.  We try to teach it the week of the holiday.  In this post you will find all of the activities we do with St. Patrick's Day.  I will be adding to this post as new activities are photographed.

St. Patrick's Day Clover Craft

St. Patrick's Day is the perfect time for a clover or shamrock craft!  This is an easy preschool or early elementary craft where students can be creative and still work within a template.  Students can decorate each clover leaf then assemble their own unique clover.  

For this craft, you will need the printable template (sign up for the free printable below), something to color with, scissors, glue and a solid color sheet of construction paper.  

The very first step is to color the leaves and stems.  Students can choose how to decorate each leaf.  

The next step is to cut out each shape.  

Finally, students will glue their pieces into the shape of a clover or shamrock.  Students can choose to make a 3 leaf clover or a 4 leaf clover.
